About the service
Helping your child gain independence is a big deal. You want them to have the confidence and skills to manage their own life, and that starts with the basics. Our Daily Living Skills program empowers your child, teen, or young adult to take control of their daily life by learning essential skills—from getting dressed and preparing meals to managing personal hygiene and budgeting. With the right support, they can feel confident and capable of handling everyday tasks on their own. We’re here to make that happen, without hovering, just guiding them when needed.

1. What kind of daily living skills will you help my child (or young adult) develop?
We help with everything from personal care like dressing and grooming to budgeting and cooking. Whatever it takes to live confidently and independently. That having said, a better beginning starts at home. We are here to support as part of a multidisciplinary team, lead by both the NDIS Plan and Parental Directions/Supervision.
2. How do you support my child (or young adult) without taking over?
We work alongside them, offering support when asked and encouraging them to take the lead. It’s all about giving them the tools to manage things on their own. We always refer back to strategies that have been put in place by therapists, as well as direct advice from parents/carers.
3. Can you help with routine building for both kids and young adults?
Yes! Whether it's setting up a school/work routine or planning for adulthood, we tailor the support to what fits best, making sure they feel in control. In fact, we have a really cool and revolutionary program called 'Local Legends' that will help your Young Adult transition from school to paid employment.
